What
is Coaching?
Coaching is a process
that helps you:
- Solve problems
and meet challenges
- Reach goals
- Design a plan of
action
- Make decisions
In addition, the coach
"stays with" you to:
- Implement the plan
of action, dynamically modifying it when necessary and working through
any obstacles.
- Maintain a healthy
balance between your personal and professional life.
- Keep looking ahead
to take advantage of opportunities, which are just now formulating.
- Bring out your
best, keeping focused on your needs, values and vision.
In other words, coaching
is a collaborative, supportive and encouraging relationship, focused on
your success. It provides structure, focus, and accountability, which
help you accomplish more than you ever believed possible.
Coaching is all about
you - your goals, your dreams. It's all encompassing and develops the
whole person, allowing you to make better, more informed decisions for
yourself.

on specific goals

more out of life
- People wanting
to simplify life
- People who want

- People who want
support
- People who do too

What
are the Benefits of Coaching to the Individual?
You have a partner
who can provide an impartial perspective and brainstorm with you on next
steps and ways to move ahead.
You will be challenged
to go beyond where you would go yourself.
You will have someone
with whom you can explore options.
You will have someone
to listen to you who has your best interests in mind.
Together, you and
your coach will address some of the irritations and tolerations of everyday
business and personal life. You will feel good about moving toward a happier
and more productive life.
What are the Benefits of Coaching to
the Company?
Your profitability
and productivity will increase through coaching by developing and "growing"
your partners, associates, managers and employees.
You can unlock your
peoples' true potential through a combination of group training, and group
and individual coaching.
Your leaders and managers
will be more effective if they learn how to coach and inspire those who
work under and with them.
Coaching leads to
greater effectiveness, which leads to greater productivity, which leads
to increased retention and a larger profit.
Is a coach like a therapist?
No. A coach does not deal with issues of the past. A coach deals with
successful healthy people who want to go to the next level in their professional
and personal lives.
What should I expect?
This will vary depending on the services you desire. Individual coaching
sessions are usually done via telephone. I provide three 45-minute sessions
each month, usually during the first three weeks of the month. Also included
is unlimited e-mail access and between call check-ins. Group or private
coaching sessions for corporate clients can be in person or via telephone
and are structured to fit the needs of the organization.
Is it confidential?
Yes, absolutely. Coaching is a profession with its own procedures, technology,
standards, ethics, and certification process. Confidentiality is a tenet
of the coaching profession.

Can I hire a coach for a specific short-term
project or goal?
Yes, some clients hire a coach to help them accomplish specific projects
or goals.
What is the commitment if I start working
with a coach?
Although there is no obligation, I suggest you consider a minimum three
to six month commitment. This provides the time and continuity needed
to produce the initial results you desire.
What makes the coaching relationship work?
Coaching is a professional collaboration between you and your coach that
helps create and focus your momentum toward success. Better, stronger
goals are set. Strategies are created and implemented to reach those goals.
Weekly coaching sessions provide support and accountability. This type
of structure allows you to take bigger risks than you normally would,
which leads to greater success and enhanced performance.
